I've used both NordVPN and Express, and basically it comes down to the price. Now I primarily use ExpressVPN because I travel to China a lot, and there were some issues with Nord when I've tried to access something from Qingdao. I'd probably recommend ExpressVPN but both services still have 30-day money-back, so there's no hard choice to be made.

I wholly agree with the review, ExpressVPN isn’t perfect but so far I had no connectivity issues or any hiccups. There’s always that free trial though, so if you’re not sure if you wanna commit or not, try it out and get your money back in case you aren’t impressed. For me, ExpressVPN has always stayed solid and there’s no better VPN out there.

This article claims that you can access Netflix with ExpressVPN, but when I was in China I couldn’t do this. Thankfully it has a 30-days money back policy so I didn't lose anything apart from time. NordVPN worked great afterwards, plus it is slightly cheaper.

I guess it depends on the user experience, but my ExpressVPN Windows app has been crashing constantly with no apparent way to fix it. The only reason I haven’t changed it is that the Android app works great, it’s got simple-to-use UI, fast speed and a large server count. Hope that Windows version gets fixed soon, but its Android app is enough of a reason to buy it.
